Jillian left on Friday to go to Busch Gardens with the marching band. She was so excited about going.. she had her bags packed by Wednesday night! They came home on Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m. but thankfully Frank went to get her! She had a lot of fun and they had great weather, sunshine and 70's!
Becca had to work on Saturday at the pharmacy. It was her first time working a full day! She's only ever worked 4 hours at a time before, but she was glad to get the extra hours. She gets paid every Thursday and when she works on weekends, they actually pay her in advance for the coming weekend! So she got a nice pay on Thursday. She's been saving up for a camera and finally had enough! So we went to WalMart and she picked out a new digital camera. She loves it! She hasn't stopped taking pictures since she got it! The main reason she wanted it was for the trip to Quebec with her French class and then our trip to Florida the week later.
Frank and I had the day to ourselves on Saturday, so we ran to town and went to WalMart and Lowe's. We picked up some more plants for my flower boxes on the fence around the pool. I also got a couple of potted plants to place around my pond and a water lily for in it. They look so pretty! But I want to get a couple more to give it a little more color. As soon as I'm finished with it, I'll post pictures!
Sunday after church, my mom came over for lunch (bbq chicken on the grill *yumm*) then we headed to town to put some flowers on the graves in the cemetery. Unfortunately, mom's car broke down while we were at the cemetery, so Frank had to come to our rescue! He worked on it a bit and got it running again, but it needs more work, so she has to take it to the shop to get checked out.
So that was our weekend! Busy, but nice.... hard to believe that next weekend is Memorial Day weekend!
