A friend of mine told me yesterday that he starts every day with the thought that he will influence at least 3 people that day. It is up to him what the influence is, whether good or bad.
Wow! That is really a deep thought! lol! I'm serious here. Think about it. The way you react to each person in every situation can influence them in some way. Whether it's the store clerk when you are checking out, or the person behind you in the check out line, or the telemarketer on the phone who is just doing her job....
Have you ever noticed that when you smile at someone, they usually smile back at you. But if you give someone a dirty look, they usually get this shocked look on their face like, "what did I do???". For the rest of the day, they are going to be trying to figure out what they did to make you look at them like that! But if you smiled at them, it may make their day a little better.
Influence every single person you come in contact with today in a positive way.... not a negative way.
